Idling problem

After installing my JRSC on my LS hybrid I have had an idling problem that I hope someone else has had. My computer is not throwing any check engine codes fwiw. I have checked the map,tps, and iac according to the acura service manual and they all check out accordingly. The problem is this. When the engine reaches operating temperature it idles irradically. It will idle up to around 2K and then drops down to approx. 900 rpm. It then idles back up to 2K and repeats the above sequence. Could this be caused by a vacuum leak or what? I am at a loss and our service guy is also. Any help would be appreciated. Also I just love my car now. While the engine was out I put in a clutchmasters stage 3 clutch and a brand new ITR tranny. That was the best money I have ever spent (the tranny that is). I am dusting every guy around the area here. Thanks for the help...

Definitely sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all vacuum connections, especially around the PCV valve. I forget, do LS blocks have an oil separator box on them? If so, check around there too.

To check for a vac leak just observe if your boost gauge swings back and forth. If not, then take your intake off. Start the car and place your finger over the TB idle bypass hole. If it dies immediately when you place your finger in the hole, then the engine might not have a vac leak. Check your IAC valve if it's filled w/ soot on the mesh screen.

If the IAC is OK, try adjusting that set screw on the IAC unit.
